The school atmosphere is a very important element of gameplay, determining how students react to various events and actions of Ayano. The level of school atmosphere can be seen on the calendar at the beginning of each day.

At the beginning of the game, the school atmosphere will be bright and cheerful, like a snippet of a reckless anime. However, if students begin to discover blood stains, corpses, or unexplained suicides, the school atmosphere will begin to decline.

Students at this stage only notice suspicious behavior from a fairly short distance and not very quickly. Also, Ayano's reputation drops less. They will only respond to death cries at a short distance.
